Title: Agricultural Bank Introduces “Al-Ziraai Mobile” to Boost Financial Inclusion
The Agricultural Bank of Sudan has rolled out Al-Ziraai Mobile, a new banking application that enables customers to perform interbank transfers across Sudan. The announcement was made by the bank’s General Manager, Engineer Abdullah Al-Hassan Mahmoud, who said the innovation aims to expand financial access and digital services for all sectors.
Mahmoud explained that the application utilizes the Electronic Banking Services (E.B.S) network, allowing customers to transfer money between the Agricultural Bank and other banks through the Bank-to-Bank Account Number (B.B.A.N) system. The feature provides a faster and more reliable channel for transactions.
He noted that with one of the largest branch networks in the country, the Agricultural Bank continues to drive efforts to modernize the agricultural sector and increase national production through advanced financial technology.
Mahmoud reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to offering secure, convenient, and innovative banking services that support economic growth, adding that a new package of digital payment tools will soon be released for clients.
